Hello my name is Staci Quiroga and I'm the Preschool Director. I've been teaching since 1989. I taught First Grade at Light and Life Christian School from 1998 - 2004. Since 2004, I've been the Director of Light and Life Christian Preschool. I have been married since 1991. Both of our daughters, Jessica and Amanda, have benefited from the Christian education they have received at LLCS. As a parent and Director, I am sensitive to your cares and concerns for young child's education and development.

Hi my name is Deanna Jennings and I am the assistant director and also a pre-k teacher here at the preschool. I have been with Light and Life since 1999 and have been in this field for about 12 years. In the early 70s when the school was located in Duarte, I attended preschool here. I live in Glendora and I am married with two boys, ages 20 and 15. Our pre-k classroom introduces concepts that the children will master in kindergarten. We work with the children on recognizing and writing the alphabet and numbers. We have a pre-k curriculum that includes all of the areas of kindergarten readiness. Bible is taught daily in our classroom and the children attend chapel once a week. Our classroom is always busy with many new things going on daily. We cook, have share day, do fun and sometimes messy crafts, and go to gymnastics here on our campus. We love visitors, so feel free to come by and meet us and take a peek at some of the things we are doing.

My name is Mailen Droz. I am twenty five years old, bilingual, and attending Citrus College where my major is Child Development. I am the mother of a two year old little girl. I recently got married and feel like I am the happiest woman in the world.

I love my family and Christ is the reason for all my happiness. I also love working with the two year old children because it is amazing to watch them learn. I work with Miss Ruth and together we are helping the children with their cognitive, social, and emotional development skills. We are also working on "potty training" for many of the children. Most important, we are teaching them to love Christ and one another.

Working here at LLCS is a wonderful experience for me. Light and Life Christian Preschool is like my second family!

My name is Jennifer Doyle, and here are some things about my life that I would like to share with you. I have been married to my husband, John, for 6 1/2 years. We also have two wonderful boys, Nick and Vladimir. Nick attends Stanton Elementary School in Glendora and he is in his last year of elementary school. Vladimir attends Light and Life Christian Preschool and absolutely loves it. As well as taking care of my own children and teaching them, I also teach children here at LLCS.

I am the teacher for the children in their early threes. Our class name is the "Shining Stars." I have enjoyed teaching for many years and I have enjoyed working at Light and Life Christian Preschool as I have been blessed to have some wonderful Christian women as coworkers in my life.

My name is Tina Sandoval and I am the Junior-Kindergarten teacher at Light and Life Christian Preschool. I have been working here since 1997 and have been in the field since 1989. I am attending Citrus College to continue my education in Early Childhood Development. Junior-Kindergarten is a "gift year" given to some children who need an extra year to develop their social and emotional skills. When they enter Kindergarten in the Fall they are more likely to have a successful year. We work with a monthly curriculum that covers themes, letters, numbers, pre-writing, and pre-reading activities we also do fun crafts that go along with what we are learning. We have a great time in class, so please come in and take a look at all the learning and fun things that we do.

My name is Pam Wagner and I am the teacher of the Older Three's class at Light and Life Christian School. I have been the field since 1991 and currently attending Citrus College to further my education in Early Childhood Education. In the three year old class we explore beginning sounds, colors, shapes, numbers, and following directions skills. We work with a monthly curriculum that covers themes, learning centers, music and movement, and crafts that complement our monthly theme. Feel free to stop by and visit my classroom anytime.
